What struggle it is to be the one who won't forget.
To forever know of the strange happenstances around you.
The knowledge of the past ever haunting,
Lives lost and events long forgotten by others.
Sometimes it may be a gift to be the one who remembers.
An assistance to those who wish to know.
Perhaps it is not all the worst to never lose what is lost by others,
But a painful part in life you must play.
