Growth for Love

Stepping away from my broken past,
I wander into a lonely future.

Many days of isolation,

All with a more distant mindset.

"I should be better so my next love could be healthy."
Met only with years of solitude.

Yet one can only grow so much alone.

To yearn for someone to long for your presence,

is an emotion no enemy should deserve to suffer.

But alongside someone you trust and care for,

you should strive to be the best for each other.

And with that passion, growth can ensue.

Love can blossom into the grandest tree.

We can become better together.
