Blind Fireworks

The fleeting noise flares as fireworks fly up.
Every burst of light blindingly beautiful.
Light falls, a lingering lie laying upon my lenses.
I part ways with the portal paving the path to clarity,
And I am greeted with a grandiose golden gift.
Each spark springing to life with a splotch splattered with color.
Vibrant orbs vividly revolving about one another.
A misty veil hid the detail of each distant diorama,
And yet it is an experience I can only enact in enunciated explanation.

Just as my eyesight is soon to wither away,
These blind fireworks hold a fading beauty all the same.
