Happy Wednesday! I hope you're all doing well wherever and whenever you are.
Lately, one goal I've had in terms of self-improvement has been trying to leave the house a little more. A suggestion from my therapist was to try heading out for at least an hour a week. (Small steps, yeah?)
So far, I've committed to it successfully! Week one, I got a haircut and bought some ingredients, Second, I got invited to a baseball game (I got to watch from one of the suites, it was an amazing experience!) and This week, I went out to see a movie with some friends!
Each of these outings, I don't think I've ended up regretting it. Usually leaving on outings gives me a small twinge of regret, like I wasted my time and shouldn't have gone. But each of these three adventures have left me thinking "I needed that."
I think that's a good thing.
I don't really know what I plan on doing from now on, but I definitely want to experience new things, see new places, and all on my own terms this time - not leashed to a "family trip" and a want to just go home.
Let me know, what kind of experiences should I look for?
